Store Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a well-organized, customer-focused environment in the store.
  • Greet and assist customers; respond to and resolve customer inquiries and complaints; and create plans to consistently meet customer expectations.
  • Lead a team of retail associates to execute organizational initiatives and achievement of store goals.
  • Supervise the day-to-day tasks and performance of retail associates.
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and terminating staff.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching for current employees.
  • Prepare employee work schedules; assign daily responsibilities and activities of employees, ensuring these responsibilities and assignments are carried out.
  • Ensure execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, practices, and programs.
  • Execute payroll procedures, accounting for employee hours worked, FTO and holiday pay, and commissions.
  • Reconcile daily sales and payments; make bank deposits. Manage consumer financing process.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
  • Help create strategies to attract new customers and retain current customers.
  • Analyze trends and create action plans to leverage the store’s strengths and address areas of opportunity.
  • Assist in unpacking and displaying merchandise; preparing items for customer deliveries and pickups; and unloading incoming merchandise trucks, as needed.
  • Coordinate employee events/gatherings.

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years in retail management and/or human resources environment a plus
  • Leadership and accounting skills
  • Computer and word processing skills

This full-time hourly position is five days per week, which includes a scheduled Saturday every other week (with a weekday off that week).

Benefits:
This full-time hourly position is Monday through Friday, with an every third Saturday rotation. Full benefits include Paid Flex time, Health, Dental, and Life Insurance, 401k and Employee Discounts.
